CALL FOR PAPERS | V. 6, 2025
Submissions are now open for the International Journal of Digital Law (IJDL), an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Editora Fórum and promoted by NUPED - Center for Research in Public Policy and Human Development of the PPGD-PUCPR: https://journal.nuped.com.br/index.php/revista/index.
Its Editorial Board is composed of professors from universities in Brazil, Argentina, Australia, Colombia, Egypt, France, India, the Netherlands, and Spain. It has already published articles by authors from Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, France, India, Mexico, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
The journal continuously accepts articles on Digital Law topics, which address legal issues related to new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, algorithms, data protection, blockchain, digital government, regulation, transparency and access to information, smart contracts, among others.
Articles submitted by September 30, 2025, will be evaluated and considered for publication in 2025.
Since January 2025, it has adopted the continuous publication model, recommended by SciELO. Articles are published one by one within the annual volume, after approval by reviewers and PDF layout by the publisher, in order to reduce the waiting time between approval and publication of the final version.
It is indexed in Latindex Catálogo 2.0, ErihPlus, MIAR, Miguilim, OpenAlex, Google Scholar, among other indexers. It received the Silver Seal from RERJ - Rede de Editores de Revistas Jurídicas. It is currently under analysis, with an indexing request already submitted, in Scopus and Web of Science.
Since 2025, works submitted can be authored by bachelors, master's students, and doctoral candidates, with no mandatory co-authorship with a Doctor.
The average article evaluation time is 1 month for immediate rejection due to non-compliance with the journal's minimum requirements (in desk review) and 3 months for the peer review response, when the minimum requirements of the Author Guidelines are met.
